Esperança Julia Pires Sevene
Since 1994 she has been lecturer Pharmacology and Therapeutics for the medical students at Pharmacology Department of Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique where achieved the position of Assistant Professor in 2011. In 2002 was also invited for lecturer Bioethics in Public Health for Master Degree students at Public Health Department of Eduardo Mondlane University. As a result of collaboration between the University and the Manhiça Health Research Centre she joins the Centre as a researcher. Along her professional career she had various assignments as national and international expert in pharmacovigilance, supporting the establishment of Pharmacovigilance Systems in Mozambique and other African Countries.
Presently, holds the following positions: Scientific Director, Faculty of Medicine, Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, Mozambique (since 2012), Vice President, National Bioethics Committee, Mozambique (since 2012), Senior Research Fellow, Manhiça Health Research Centre, Mozambique (since 2011), Lecturer, Public Health Department, Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, Mozambique (since 2002), Professor, Pharmacology Department, Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, Mozambique (since 1994).
